After IPhone X remove the home button function ,face id has become very important for unlock,and face id issue become a headache also
and Face id not work has two possiblity:
1.software issue:
Updated newest IOS or reset face id or check face id setting may help recovery
2.Hardware Issue
There are 3 parts related to the face id:
front camera ,back camera and earspeaker
and now Bizbee share you a fast way to check hardware issue:
1."setting-Face id and password-reset face id
2.Use a Android phone to taking pics in face part of iphone x
3.if the Dot Projector shining red light then means it works
4.If the Proximity sensor shining red light then means it works,if not then means proximity or earspeaker flex cable has problem
5.If Flood illuninator flashing means it works ,if not then means the illuminator or earspeaker flex cable has problem

How can i make sure my face id works?
1.make sure your front camera ,back camera ,earspeaker has not been replaced
2.carefully installing when replace lcd and battery
